Kaya the Explorer!

Saturdays are pretty good days for hangin' out. Dad doesn't have to work at the shop, and that means plenty of time for him and Kaya to play & pretend. Sometimes we go out to things like the arts fetival, or the library, or just for walks around the city.

But the last few weeks, our Saturdays have been so rainy you'd need a boat to get around downtown, or so hot you just feel like staying in the shade. So we did. Hanging out at Daddy's house is pretty fun. Who else has a hammock and swings right inside their home? Crazy daddy.

Lately, we've been learning how to be brave when we're scared, and we've been pretending out some pretty fun adventures. We figure we'll start small now, build our portfolio, and soon, we'll be world-famous explorers assigned to mysteries all over the globe.

Here are some of our recent adventures:

(a) kaya trying to catch the rain in her bug-catchin' net

(b) Boomer's baby that we rescued on a pretend-jungle-adventure to the disorganized part of Daddy's garage!

(c) Anyone seen any adventures? Our team is for hire! (Saturdays by Appointment)
