June brought in a lot more than the surprise summer rainstorms ... it also brought the arrival of Kaya's cousins Kinzie (7) and Ayden (4) who are visiting for the summer from Arizona. This was exciting news for KayaBug, who has been (for better or worse) studying and mimicking their every move as they spend the lazy summer days together playing at Grammy Weisenburgers.
Of course, that's a lot to keep up with, and Grammy gets pretty pooped. So Daddy & Kaya have been spending Tuesday evenings together with Kinzie and Ayden as "cousin nights" and have had all kinds of adventures together. We've been to JumpOnIt! the trampoline gym, the playland at McDonalds, the park, out for ice cream, and our favorite thing to do this time of year... picnic!!
A $5 pizza can stretch a long ways, and Daddy is pretty happy to spend some QT with his favorite nephew & niece from Phoenix. ...And everyone can agree that the mountains are a great place to throw a frisbee and hang out together on these beautiful June evenings.
