So, maybe I'm running a month late on this post, but it's time to catch up on some darned cute pictures and stories of my Kaya bug and her blossoming into little-girlhood. We spent the 4th (of July) at Mimi & Bobs (Grandma & Grandpa's) place in Logan. Kaya & Dad got to share an innertube & a fun afternoon on the Oneida River. Bob was very slow, "probably because he's sooo big" said Kaya. She was very brave, even when we went over waves, and even got comfy enough to start dozing off for a nap.
When we got back home, Kaya spent time with Mimi in the garden, and got to play lots with Aunt Mawshee - who apparently had her so happy she was floating - see the great picture below (2nd from bottom.)
That evening, Mimi & Bob had set up an epic slip&slide in their back yard, and a great spread on the dinner table. Later that night we lit fireworks & made the celebration official. Yay for America. Yay for Kaya! Yay for great summer days!
I love the shots with the sparklers and it takes a kid to enjoy a hotdog that much!
