Father's Day 2010

Where exactly do I begin to catch up? Spring and early Summer of 2010 have been a whirling dervish of activity, sunshine, and fun. As I look at all the photos on my computer, I have hundreds of great photos and Kaya memories to share and archive, and so little time to catch up. Perhaps with a little effort, I can recap on the highlights throughout the rest of this month.

First off - Father's Day 2010 - easily my favorite so far, and just a perfect day all around. Kaya had worked with her mom to create a little box of all her favorite stuff : her favorite rock, some photos, a handmade candle, a couple sentimental knick-knacks from Kaya's treasure trove, and a fruit-loops necklace!!

The best part of all was how excited Kaya was to give the gifts! She was shaking with anticipation, and kept jumping up and down and clapping. So adorable! We got to spend a beautiful early-summer day with Mimi & Bob (Grandma & Grandpa Monson) in Logan - were treated to an excellent dinner - and got time to spend with the newest Dad in the family - Uncle Nick - and darling little baby Zuri! Below are photos of the two cousins -Kaya & Zuri - just hanging out and enjoying the day!

Hip-hop-hooray for dads everywhere - It's easily the best thing to ever to happen to me, and of all the things I'm called (for better or worse) - 'Daddy' is my favorite. Love you Kaya - thanks for a magical day!
