The Secrets of Cecret Lake

It's been a beautiful summer. With all these mountains around us (and very little cash in the wallet) - hiking has been our summertime favorite. Kaya has a keen eye for flowers & wildlife (even if she gets a little nervous of anything larger than chipmunks) & never stops asking questions about the things around her. This video is from a couple weeks ago when we took a hike up above Albion Basin / Little Cottonwood canyon to a picturesque little spot called "Cecret Lake." We skipped stones for over an hour, saw a deer, collected bundles of summer wildflowers, and watched the sun set, with Kaya neatly tucked in her kid-carrying backpack on dad's shoulders. Sometimes life's just pretty great.
